launched

The charity donation website
CharityDonor.co.uk (this site) goes live on the web. This new website
is for busy people who would like to give more to charity but never
seem to find the time to research which charities are of interest, or
how best to give to charity.
The site is not 'heavy sell', it is simply an information resource for
those thinking about making a donation (e.g. once-off or by monthly
direct debit) and who want to research worthwhile charitable causes.
Up-to date information relating to current disaster or other appeals is
provided and visitors can easily navigate to find out more about the
work of several charities undertaking important work at home and
abroad, including Africa.
At start-up, six major charities are listed. These include children's
charities, disaster relief funds, cancer charities and animal welfare
services. Others will be added as the site evolves and attracts more
traffic.
